This explains what we collect, what we deliberately do not collect, and who else touches it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version. We ask for two things: your first name and your email address. The name so we can print it on your draft appeal letter, the email so we can send you a copy. We never ask for your denial letter, your claim number, your diagnosis, or anything else about your health or your insurance claim. We do not want that information and we do not store it.

We do not sell your email address. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone building a marketing list.
We use a small number of established services, and they only receive what they need to do their job:
We advertise on Google and on Meta, and both use cookies to measure whether their ads work.
The Meta Pixel on this site sends six signals, and this is the whole list:
The first five are a plain yes or no. The sixth also carries the amount paid, because that is the number that tells us whether an ad paid for itself. None of them carries your email address, your name, your answers, or anything at all about your health, your insurance plan, or your claim. Meta is told that something happened, never what you said or who you are.
The purchase signal reaches Meta from Whop rather than from your browser, because that is where the payment happens. To connect it to the right ad, we pass along the anonymous click identifier that Meta's own cookie already placed in your browser. We are handing Meta back its own identifier. We do not send your email address to make that match, even though that is the standard way of doing it and it would work better for us.
We have deliberately left off the Meta setting that would attach your email to those signals, because we do not think it is an appropriate trade in a category like this one. We do not send Meta how far you scrolled, how long you stayed, or what you clicked either, even though the option exists.
We use Microsoft Clarity to record how pages are used. A recording is a playback of mouse movement, scrolling, taps and clicks on the page. We watch these to find where the site confuses people. We are a very small operation, and this is how we find out that a page is not working without asking anyone to fill in a survey.
What the recordings deliberately do not show:
Masking is enforced in two independent places: in our Clarity account settings, and written into the pages themselves, so the protection holds even if a setting is changed by accident.
Clarity does not receive your email address, and it is not an advertising platform. Microsoft's handling of this data is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and you can control ad personalisation in your Meta ad preferences and Google Ad Settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
If you live somewhere with specific privacy rights, such as California, the EU, or the UK, you have those rights and the same address reaches us.
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
The site is served over HTTPS, and the services listed above hold your email address under their own security programmes. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that plainly than promise otherwise.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, say so by email.
